1. Licence

Ryan's Voice is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), supplemented by the terms on this page. The app is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad.

2. Free tier

The core app — the phrase library, text-to-speech, favourites, Quick SOS, and custom phrases — is free to download and use. No account is required.

3. Smart Voice purchases and subscriptions

• Smart Voice Lifetime — a one-time in-app purchase. The price shown before purchase is the current price for your App Store storefront. It does not renew.
• Smart Voice Monthly — an auto-renewing monthly subscription charged to your Apple ID. The current local price and billing period are shown before purchase. You can manage or cancel it in Apple ID settings; access continues until the end of the paid period, and the free core app remains available afterwards.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Rockshore Technologies does not directly receive or store your payment-card details. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies via reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Important disclaimers

• Ryan's Voice is an assistive communication tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice. The person should lead AAC decisions, with support from a qualified speech-language pathologist or assistive-technology professional where useful.
• Quick SOS is a communication aid, not an emergency service. It helps a user express urgent needs to people nearby. It does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call 000 (Australia), 911 (US), or your local emergency number.
• Speech recognition and AI suggestions are assistive features and may be imperfect. Always confirm important communications.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law, and not to use it in a way that infringes the rights of others. The Ryan's Voice name, logo, and content are the property of Rockshore Technologies Pty Ltd.

6. Privacy

Core communication and Smart Voice processing are designed to occur on your device. See the Privacy Policy for local storage, Apple services, voluntary sharing and the information this website receives when you submit a form.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; changes are posted on this page with an updated revision date.
