1. Licence

Ryan's Voice is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), supplemented by the terms on this page. The app is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad.

2. Free tier

The core app — the phrase library, text-to-speech, favourites, Quick SOS, and custom phrases — is free to download and use. No account is required.

3. Smart Voice purchases and subscriptions

• Smart Voice Lifetime — a one-time purchase (US$149.99; the App Store shows your local price). It does not renew and does not expire.
• Monthly subscription — a monthly Smart Voice option is planned but not yet available. When introduced, it will be an auto-renewing subscription charged to your Apple ID, renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, manageable anytime in Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); after cancellation the free tier remains fully functional.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Rockshore Technologies never sees or stores your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies via reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Important disclaimers

• Ryan's Voice is an assistive communication tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice. Selection and configuration of any AAC system should involve a qualified speech-language pathologist.
• Quick SOS is a communication aid, not an emergency service. It helps a user express urgent needs to people nearby. It does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call 000 (Australia), 911 (US), or your local emergency number.
• Speech recognition and AI suggestions are assistive features and may be imperfect. Always confirm important communications.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law, and not to use it in a way that infringes the rights of others. The Ryan's Voice name, logo, and content are the property of Rockshore Technologies Pty Ltd.

6. Privacy

The app processes speech and AI on your device and transmits nothing to our servers. See the Privacy Policy for full details, including the small amount of data this website collects when you submit a form.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; changes are posted on this page with an updated revision date.
