Does the app work offline?
Yes. Core features including phrases, text-to-speech and favourites work without internet. Smart Voice is designed to process nearby speech and context-aware choices on supported devices.
Does the app record my conversations?
The microphone is used to transcribe nearby speech for Smart Voice. Core communication and Smart Voice processing are designed to occur on the device. See our Privacy Policy for feature-specific storage, permissions and optional sharing.
Is Ryan's Voice suitable for children?
Ryan's Voice may be considered for younger people and adults who cannot rely on speech alone and can use its current touch interface. Suitability depends on language, access method, communication preferences, environment and support needs.
What are the tiers?
Free — $0
More than 1,000 ready-to-use phrases, text-to-speech, favourites, Quick SOS, a large tap-tile interface, personal phrases, text input and a symbol-based route. The core app is not time-limited.
Smart Voice — monthly or lifetime
Everything in Free plus on-device transcription of nearby speech and context-aware phrase choices. The person chooses what, if anything, is spoken. The App Store shows the current price for your storefront.
Everything in Smart Voice plus Author Mode with AI writing tools, story structure, PDF export, and DreamBot phone calls. Join the waitlist to hear when it launches.
Is Smart Voice a subscription?
Smart Voice is available as either a monthly subscription or a lifetime in-app purchase. Apple manages purchases and subscriptions; current local prices are shown in the app and on the App Store.
What devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 18.0 or later.
How is my data protected?
